My old Philips 9000 series shaver had broken down and needed a new head, so I treated myself to a high-end Braun—about £300 (with the cleaning station)—at the Black Friday price on Amazon. Great construction; it seems sturdy, and it’s encouraging to know that it’s German-made and comes with a 5-year warranty following registration. I shave my head and face every day because I’m bald, and it leaves me feeling great. While the precision trimmer is great for maintaining a neat goatee edge, its placement does make it a bit of a pain to achieve pinpoint accuracy. The charging and cleaning station appears to be just as well-made as the razor, but I have not yet used it. I only gave it four stars because, for the price, the razor should have a cap to preserve the foil from becoming damaged when you use it every day. I’m not even sure they make one. Given how easily it could be broken if dropped or knocked, this is a little cunning.

Despite the fact that the Braun series 9000 Pro I purchased from Amazon was not the exact model I was hoping for, I am rather satisfied with its performance. I was hoping to get my hands on the Series 9000 Pro Plus, but I got the Series 9000 Pro instead because of some misleading advertising. While perusing Amazon’s website, one can come across numerous deceptive and false adverts; it becomes nearly impossible to locate the accurate description and images of the Series 9000 Pro Plus.
